Our classes are for everyone. From those who want to get in shape and learn to defend themselves, to those looking for the ultimate workout. For optimum fitness you most have low body fat, cardiovascular endurance, muscle tone, and flexibility. Our program will help you attain all four.

Jiu Jitsu classes will not only teach you valuable grappling skills, but they are also a great conditioning workout for both cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Our Jiu Jitsu program is divided into Basic and Intermediate, Advanced, and Gi classes. Members will be assigned to the appropriate class based on experience and will advance as their skill level improves.

Boxing classes and training methods used by Professional and Amateur fighters. As well as being a superior workout that will develop invaluable self-defense skills, it is the perfect combination of cardiovascular and muscular training. The classes are taught by professional fighters who take you though their very own workout including: stretching, skipping rope, shadow boxing, combination drills, bag work, lower-body conditioning, and abdominal work in every class. Our boxing program is great for beginners to learn the fundamentals and excellent for intermediate, advance students, just for the workout or as a warmup before you enter the ring to spar. This class involves bag contact that requires hand wraps and boxing gloves. Bring a towel and water and dress to sweat!

Each training session can last up to an hour and we cover every fitness component from endurance, strengthening, agility, speed, balance, and flexibility. Each session is tailored for your personalized, instructor led, fitness program. Lead by Mike Smith, Mike is a 4 Time State Champion Wrestler, 3 Time All American who has coached youth wrestling for over 10 years and has produced several State Champions. Purebred Wrestling is for kids ages 4 -18. At Golden Fights MMA we aim to make available the opportunity for younger kids to participate in the world’s oldest sport. Early exposure to wrestling is a win-win situation. Youth wrestling raises the level of high school competition, builds respect for the sport, and helps develop the athletic and life lessons learned through wrestling in children. 

Kids Program Ages 5 to 15 Junior Wolverines: Kickboxing, Boxing and MMA Coordination Lead by Jeff and Val Barney who have over 20 MMA and Kickboxing matches between them they have been teaching kids classes for 15 years. Our kids program helps children achieve and succeed in ways they never have before. We instill a strong sense of commitment and self confidence that will serve your child for the rest of their life. Through martial arts, we can help teach your child how to overcome the challenges and obstacles life throws at them. Their increased self-control and focus will help you see results in all aspects of their lives. Their behavior will improve, as will their school work.
